Drs. M. de Riva Silva

Drs. M. (Marta) de Riva Silva is cardioloog en heeft als aandachtsgebied ritmestoornissen (elektrofysiologie).

In 2010 rondde zij de opleiding tot cardioloog af en in 2012 de opleiding tot elektrofysioloog. Beide opleidingen volgde zij in het Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, behorende bij de Complutense universiteit van Madrid (Spanje).

In 2012 begon zij een fellowship in “geadvanceerde elektrofysiologie” in het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC), waar zij nu werkzaam is als elektrofysioloog. Haar onderzoek richt zich op het gebied van de behandeling van complexe hartritmestoornissen door middel van katheterablatie.
